Nk’Mip Pinot Noir 2017

Hailing from the hottest wine region in BC, Nk’Mip grows its grapes on the shores of Osoyoos Lake, and produces a fairly luscious expression of the complex Pinor Noir. All the flavours in the Pinot Noir varietal have been well baked by the high heat and come out via juicy red fruit notes, light spices and traces of oak, all stiffened with a high acidity and tannins to spare. An intense wine, and for those of us who prefer the more austere takes on Pinot, its long jammy finish can be a bit too rich, even with well balanced structure overall.
